Introduction
The students at another elementary school need your help! Their teacher and librarian have been stressing the importance of evaluating websites, but the kids don't believe them. They think that it is just a waste of their time. All they care about is finding information so they can finish their work quickly and play games on the Internet.
The teacher and librarian have given up! They've tried everything and are convinced that no matter what they say, the students will not listen.
Your mission is to try to help the students to understand that they need to evaluate information that they find on the Internet. The teacher and librarian have asked for your help because they think that their kids will listen to other kids.
I asked the teacher and librarian, "So...what's in it for my kids?" They said that if you are able to help their students, they will throw a pizza and ice cream party in your honor! They will bring pizza and ice cream to our school as a way of saying thanks for your efforts!
But first you need to convince those kids!
