Congratulations Class of 2009! The
Board of Education and administration of the Cherry Hill
Public Schools congratulate the 932 graduates of
Cherry Hill High School East and Cherry
Hill High School West. The graduations will
be rebroadcast throughout the summer on CHPS TV (click

of the graduates...Best wishes for a great future!

At the June 26 Board of Education meeting, the
Board discussed class rank and a change
in procedure that would provide parents and students
with the option of whether to report rank on the
student's college transcript.

Officers

The focus
of East PTA is to provide parent and student programs, the
Cougar Line newsletter, and scholarships. Our only
fundraiser for these expenses is the Non-event fundraiser.

Become a
member of PTA.
The goal of the CHHSE PTA is to bring parents, school staff, students,
and community together. Better communications between families and
school is also one of our goals. We would like to invite you to join
us in our work to make a difference in the education and quality of
life for all our students. Purchasing a CHHSE PTA membership gives you
a forum for expressing your opinion and being involved in the
education of your children. We encourage everyone to be a member of
the CHHSE PTA!
The membership fee is $5.00 per parent for the
2008-2009 school year. Please enroll by printing and completing the
PTA
Membership Registration Form. Your student may bring the form
and membership payment in an envelope to the CHHSE communication
office labeled to the attn: Shirley Kane.

The Guidance Departments of
Cherry Hill East and West are presenting two
workshops the summer: The SAT/PSAT
Tutorial and the
College Essay Tutorial.
These five-day workshops will be offered on August
10-13 or August 17-21. Click
HERE for more information on these tuturials,
including the session hours (morning, afternoon, and evening
sessions are available) and a registration form. Register
by June 19!The Progress Book Parent Access website is now

freshman will be held on Thursday, August 20th at 7 pm and on
Tuesday, August 25th at 9 am. All freshman students and
parents are required to attend one of these meetings.

will be given at East August 11, 2009.

into Mrs. Walsh (athletics secretary) by July 27 @ 2 p.m.

a.m. - 1p.m. @ CHHSE NOTE: Put your September
grade on these forms. (both the June and Aug forms)
