PTA Membership

How do I become a member?

Fill out a membership form and enclose it with your dues in an envelope labeled "PTA Membership". Return the envelope to Rosa School office. If mailing, address the envelope to "Rosa PTA, 485 Browning Lane, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003".

What are the benefits of being a PTA member?

As a member of Rosa PTA, you are part of a national organization (National PTA). "National PTA is the largest volunteer child advocacy organization in the United States. A not-for-profit association of parents, educators, students, and other citizens active in their schools and communities, PTA is a leader in reminding our nation of its obligations to children". Also, as a member of Rosa PTA, you are entitled to voting privileges at any general membership meeting and you are showing your child your commitment to education.

PTA Events

What types of events are sponsored by Rosa PTA?

We sponsor events to add something to the typical school environment – three examples of programs we support are Mt. Misery for 6th graders – providing snacks etc for their week, Author Visit for the entire school, but does specific writers workshops with the 7th graders and the 8th grade farewell dance. For a full list of activities please see Rosa PTA-What we do and How we pay for it. Our fundraising is Nice and Easy – no selling, just send in a donation and or sign up to support Rosa via Box tops, Target Points etc. The fundraising helps us meet our financial goals.

How do I know when events are taking place?

Rosa PTA sends out email notifications via our Yahoo Groups, as well as our quarterly newsletter which is published in coordination with school staff.
